What is Robin?
Robin is a personal budgeting app designed to help you take control of your finances. It allows you to track your income and expenses, set budgets, and visualize your cash flow over time. Our goal is to make financial management simple and stress-free.
How do I get started?
Getting started with Robin is easy:
- Download the Robin app from the App Store or Google Play
- Sign in with your Apple or Google account
- Complete the quick onboarding to set your currency and starting balance
- Add your income sources and regular expenses
- Start tracking your finances!
Is Robin free to use?
Yes! Robin is currently free to use with all features included. We may introduce premium features in the future, but the core budgeting functionality will always remain free.
Is my financial data secure?
Absolutely. Your security is our top priority. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data both in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest (AES-256). We never sell your data to third parties, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

What platforms is Robin available on?
Robin is available on iOS and Android devices. You can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. A web version may be available in the future.
Using Robin
How do I track my expenses?
To add an expense in Robin:
- Tap the “Expenses” tab in the bottom navigation
- Tap the “+” button to add a new expense
- Enter the expense name, amount, and category
- Select the frequency (one-time, weekly, monthly, etc.)
- Tap “Save” to add the expense
Your expenses will automatically appear in your cash flow forecast and calendar view.
Can I set up recurring transactions?
Yes! Robin supports a variety of recurring frequencies for both income and expenses, including:
- One-time
- Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly
- Monthly, Bi-monthly, Quarterly
- Semi-annually, Annually
When you add a transaction, simply select the appropriate frequency and Robin will automatically include it in your future forecasts.
How do I change my currency?
To change your currency:
- Go to the Account page (tap your profile icon on the Home screen)
- Tap on “Currency” in the Preferences section
- Select your preferred currency from the list
Note: Changing your currency will update how amounts are displayed but will not convert existing values.
Can I export my data?
Data export functionality is coming soon. In the meantime, if you need a copy of your data, please contact our support team and we'll be happy to assist you.
Account Management
How do I delete my account?
Warning: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed.
To delete your Robin account:
- Open the Robin app and go to the Home screen
- Tap on your profile icon in the top right to open the Account page
- Scroll down to the “Danger Zone” section
- Tap “Delete Account”
- Read the information about what will be deleted
- Tap “Continue” to proceed
- Type “DELETE” to confirm
- Tap “Delete My Account” to permanently delete your account
Once deleted, all your data including income, expenses, categories, and personal information will be permanently removed from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
